30 Day Blog Challenge

So lately I have been very afraid. Mental illness has this way of making you feel uncertain and fearful, which makes you feel so alone. And I hate this feeling.

I have been struggling to figure out where the bipolar ends and where Ros begins. Enter 30 Day Blog Challenge. The 30 Day Challenge is quite simple: for 30 days you write on various topics and how they relate to you. Ok so I have commitment issues, so writing everyday may be tricky and overwhelming. But seeing that I’m never one to back down from a challenge, I will do this. I’m doing this for me and for all those suffering from mental illness.

It is so easy to make your entire life revolve around your illness: what you eat, when you sleep, and for people like me, what you write. So for 30 days I want to show that we are capable of so much more and that stigma is so misplaced. We are not lazy people; if anything we are creative, driven, strong, determined, and everything that is great.

So join me over the next 30 days as I discover things about me and the world (apparently challenges have a way of doing that).
